[ViewLevel] comments-rss bug status?

I noticed the reported bug with including comments to restricted posts
getting included in the comments feed.  I tested it, and it seems this
is still a problem.  Is there a fix to this?  An ETA for one?

I'd appreciate any help on this...the plug-in does exactly what I want,
but this one glitch is a bit of a problem.
