[ViewLevel] view level=0 jumps back to *

Hi there,

I am using the latest version of Wordpress. So far viewlevel seems to be
working. The only thing is that I cannot select viewlevel=0 as the general
viewer level. It automatically jumps to viewlevel=*. Any idea how that
comes.
Moreover, it seems that I cannot adapt the viewlevel of the individual
readers anymore. At least not in the admin panel.  Can that be fixed?
Last question. Will there follow any viewlevel adpatations in the future or
do we just have to edit it ourselves?
