[EventCalendar] Posting Many Calendar Events at One Time

Yes, the date is a bummer!
My site is not live right now...running it using MAMP.
I'm using Wordpress as a CMS site more than a blog site.
Any suggestions as to how to remove the posting date only for posting events?
Many thanks (again),
Ali

So, what I'd like to do is not repeat the same event throughout the year, but basically put the year's schedule of events on the calendar that people can refer to. I'd like to do this without having to use posts because the post date is irrelevant; it's the event and event date that is important.
