[EventCalendar] Posting Many Calendar Events at One Time

Okay - what you can do is edit the pages in your theme that you want to either show the date (or not).

For example, on my theme, search.php (which returns the search results) looks like this:

    <p class="date">
      <span class="d1"><?php the_time('j') ?></span>
      <span class="d2"><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
      <span class="d3"><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>
    </p>

So if I wanted the date to be shown for anything except the "Events" category, I would add an "if" statement around this section:

    <?php if (!in_category('Events')) { ?><p class="date">
      <span class="d1"><?php the_time('j') ?></span>
      <span class="d2"><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
      <span class="d3"><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>
    </p><?php } ?>

Hope that helps!

David

Yes, the date is a bummer!
My site is not live right now...currently being run on MAMP.
I'm using Wordpress as a CMS site more than a blog site.
Any suggestions as to how to remove the posting date only for posting events?
Many thanks (again),
Ali
