Thank you! I applied the changes to my test setup, which had the same 
problems, and it now works fine.

(I'm not a programmer, and it took a few minutes before I realized 
that the lines marked with a "-" were supposed to be replaced with 
the lines marked with a "+", and that the other lines were for 
information only.)
