[EventCalendar] changing html of schedule

Hi

I'd like the schedule (eg the date) shown on the individual pages for 
events to change from
<table class="ec3_schedule"><tbody><tr><td colspan="3">November 13, 
2008</td></tr></tbody></table>

to

<div class="ec3_schedule"><span class="month">Nov</span> <span 
class="days">13</span> <span class="year">2008</span></div>

I've read http://wpcal.firetree.net/2007/10/25/ec3_the_schedule/ but 
am none the wiser, I'm afraid.
