[EventCalendar] Past Events

Hi all,

I really wish there were a forum instead of this email list, but...

1. I would like to return a list of Past Events, sorted Descending.
Currently, the the query http://blog.address/?ec3_before=today gives me a list of past events, but it is sorted Ascending.
Does anyone know what code I would have to change for this? (I would still like to keep UPCOMING events sorted Ascending.)

2. I am having trouble with the RSS feed on my site (grrr GoDaddy), where it works intermittently.
What php code could I add to my sidebar to show the last 3 (past) events, sorted Descending? (I am new with php, so if you could send code snippets or examples, that would be great!)
