[EventCalendar] When logged in...cannot see linked calendar days

When you are logged out you can see the links for the calendar, and everything works correctly...

But when you are logged in and browsing through the site...the event links within the calendar no longer work (so it effectively looks like there are no events)...logging out fixes this...is there something that can be done to fix problem?
