[EventCalendar] Widget question

I haven't seen this question (but maybe I'm blind) so forgive me if it's 
been asked.  I've got the most recent version of WordPress running 
(2.3.2) and the RC3 of the new Event Calendar.  I have the widgets 
enacted, but something weird is up.  Every time I go in to change the 
"widget title", it won't accept my changes.  I don't want a title to 
appear, but it refuses to accept a blank entry.

So I went into the widgets plugin itself and removed the default widget 
name ("Event Calendar") and it would accept erasing the title.

However, it randomly reappears.  I don't know how, or why - there 
doesn't seem to be a method to it, either.  It'll just stay invisible 
for a while, and then *pop* - it's back, and I have to go into the 
widgets and erase it again.

Anyone have any ideas as to why it's doing this?
