[EventCalendar] Dashboard, index-extra.php error

I've been nursing this issue for a while now. Haven't seen any useful 
advice on the WP forums...

With Event Calendar 311rc3 activated, the portions of my dashboard that 
should receive feeds (like the wordpress developers blog, incoming 
links, etc.) just don't show up. I've upgraded to WP 2.3.2, but in 
previous versions, I would actually get error messages in those areas. 
If I disable EC, the dashboard content displays normally. I'm on a 
windows dedicated server with IIS6. In the past, I would just comment 
out the part of wp-admin/index-extra.php that seem to relate to the feed 
content, to disable it.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?
