[EventCalendar] adding items JUST for calendar

[Bill Gram-Reefer]

Hi folks, haven't been paying attention.

I have EC3 set so all calendar items appear as a post then are tracked  
on the calendar at

http://halfwaytoconcord.com

Is there a way to keep this setting but have the odd individual  
listing NOT show up as post and JUST appear in the Calendar and  
UPCOMING EVENTS list.
