[EventCalendar] Any reason why 'Show more posts' would be affected by EC3 + can I activate/deactive EC3 to test?

I don't think the problem is EC3, because in my webpage, I show 6 posts. I
know to little about the source-code, so I can't help you further.

Yes, you can deactivate and activate EC3 without losing data.
