[EventCalendar] A few questions

Hello List,

I am very happy with EventCalendar so far. It works perfect on my Wordpress
2.3.1 blog. However, I have a few feature requests for future releases (or
maybe recommendations sounds better):

- set recurring dates (birthdays for example ...  I have a family blog site
and really don't remember all of them!)
- send email reminders (i use a post notification plugin for new posts -
would be great if the calendar could send a reminder email for events prior
to the event)


That's it! Is there still active development going on? I read on some other
forum that is seized for EC3, which I doubt.

With above mentioned features, I am sure it would gain more popularity ....
What does everyone else think?
