[EventCalendar] charset problem

Hello,
 
I'm from Romania and in order to display our few diacriticals we are using
ISO-8859-2 charset.
 
Unfortunately, I get this error message from Event Calendar:

Is it anything possible to do in order to correct this problem? I appreciate
any advice!
