[EventCalendar] patch does not work

[Bill Gram-Reefer]

I made the changes from the patch into correct areas of ec,php and ec,js

and reinstalled with EC311r3

and still get

Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.

when clicking on date in calendar

popup shows events in that date,

widget showing events in that date works

but clicking on day produces the
