[EventCalendar] addendum to wp25 behavior

the problem with wp 25 and event calendar also is happening on my  
production site

where click on april 21 does not produce the post

but it does show popup and the upcoming event widget works fine and  
produces the desired post when clicking on april 21

so it's not the revolution theme.
