[EventCalendar] Future Events not in EventCalendar

You need to create a new post, then set the Event Date (at the bottom of the
write post page - you may need to expand the section) to the 18th. Do not
change the post timestamp and do not check your "Event" category -- that
will happen automatically when you set the event date.
