[EventCalendar] WP 2.3 | Advice, Tips & Thoughts for Upgrading

hello good people,

Reading about this problems on upgrading to 2.3, I would like to pick  
your brains and experiences and put together  a list of things to do  
or not do if we want to upgrade.

Hopefully this will grow into a good guide for those curious. I  
haven't upgrade just yet, but i think i should before my new site  
goes live.
