[EventCalendar] wp 2.3 going 404 on ec category

ec 3.1.1._rc1, wp2.3, "keeps events separate" will not display the  
events category properly.

yes, that's exactly what we would expect to happen if you have "keep  
events separate"
this needs profound changes in the core ec3 code and I believe that  
Alex is working on it.  as of now there is not solution, this is due  
to changes in the wp data model, see also exchanges on this mailing  
list earlier

don't worry:  the information is still stored properly to the  
database, so most probably once ec3 is upgraded to work with the new  
database structure, your events category could be back.

the only reasonable thing to do is to wait with upgrading production  
sites until all plugins you use are certified to work with the new  
release.
