[EventCalendar] wp 2.3 going 404 on ec category

To Whom It May Concern:

I just upgraded to WordPress 2.3 and have been using EC 3.1.1._rc1 and have found that the category I assigned to EventCalendar will not load and just shows the WP 404 message.  You can see what I'm talking about at http://xsessionmusic.com/wordpress/  The category is Shows and the link to the archives for that category is http://xsessionmusic.com/wordpress/?cat=3 which just says Not Found but if I click on the month above the calendar in the sidebar, the events for that month are displayed.  For example: http://xsessionmusic.com/wordpress/?m=200709&cat=3

Any ideas how to resolve this?
