[EventCalendar] Is EC3 good to go with WP23?

yes, I'd confirm that this works.
if you *don't* keep events separate you probably will not run into
problems. however, if you keep events separate and try to load an
archive of your events category it will give you a 404 not found

hmmm, i expect that the wp guys made a lot of stuff (not everything)
backwards compatible, so some of the old wp functions might still
linger around. the problems only start when you begin to access the
database (i.e. you're placing or worse: modifying sql statements)
