[EventCalendar] Is EC3 good to go with WP23?

afaik Alex is busy looking into the issue. I had no time testing in
great detail, but since categories are to disappear (well, sort of;
as far as I understand there will be some sort of backwards
compatibility for the time being) I'd certainly expect that there
could be some some issues
however, if you at least *keep* the event category while updating,
probably some of ec3's functionality will still be available ... this
seems to be the case at least at my wp2.3 testbed.
(however I do get there some other issues with 404 errors which I
would need to trace)
so, no guarantee it will work, best would be to wait until other
people have made their experiences with wp2.3, second best would be
to upgrade your test / integration test installation and test
thoroughly before moving to 2.3. I'd never just upgrade a production
installation and then see what breaks ;-)
