[EventCalendar] post month displaying on post page instead of current month

I am trying to get my event calendar to always show the current month.  It
seems to be displaying the month that the post was create (not the event,
but the post).

Examples.

http://www.cigogreen.org/2007/05/23/architectural-design-incorporated/
(shows may events instead of current month, because post was created in may)

http://www.cigogreen.org/2007/05/23/nelson-mechanical-design-inc/
(same)

How would I make sure that the calendar always displays the current month?
