this imports perfectly into iCal on mac, also iCal subscription works  
perfectly (and I believe that that was the whole point of ec3_ical)
you can also import the file into gCal -- with the known limitation  
that times are discarded by gCal, working on a fix right now,  
however, add by URL seems not to work on gCal
