I was asked what Post Levels is, and why I'm so anxious to use it.
Very simply, Post Levels allows you to assign categories to user
levels. If a post is assigned a certain category, it cannot be viewed
unless the user has a certain user level (or above). Since I haven't
had a chance to actually use it yet, I can't tell you how extensive
it is.
This is incredibly useful. I want to use it to enable things like
moderator announcements in the site I'm working on. It would be a
shoe-in for a paid subscription site.
Let me state it clearly: If you want to charge people money for user
levels on your WordPress site, then you will really want Post Levels.
It will add zing for the buck.
I just need it to keep the "noise" down for normal subscribers, while
allowing higher-level subscribers and administrators access to more
communications.
