Subject: EC "causing" double entry returns in WP db?
I've had to disable EC because of a problem I'm having that appears to be
related to it. (I will enable it today so you can see the problem I'm
having). I've temporarily placed EC at the bottom of the sidebar, but it
usually is at the top.
I'm using WP 2.1.3 and EC 3.1.0 along with the calendar widget 3.1.0.
When I have EC enabled, and when I search for a topic on my web site, it
returns a double entry (or more) for many of the posts. Try searching for
"oil spill" for example. When I disable EC and (the widget doesn't seem to
affect this one way or the other), and type oil spill, the db returns one
entry rather than four. I have tried searching for many other items and it
is random but similar (sometimes two, sometimes four, sometimes 6).
Is there a fix for this? If not, I will have to disable it permanently, and
it is a feature of my site.
