Erased?? Really? Are you sure?

The event-calendar stuff is all stored in a table called
WP_EC3_SCHEDULE. (The WP prefix might be different, depending upon how
you set up WordPress.) If this table has disappeared somehow, then all
you need to do is replace it from your back-up.

Perhaps you changed the table prefix (usually 'WP') during your upgrade?
