[EventCalendar] worldwide use of the calendar (timezone for each event)

Hi, I am new to the list, just started working with the plug in last
month. It is great - kudos on it!. We made great progress with it
quickly.

I wanted to share with you our implementation (which seems to stretch
it a bit).

http://uxnet.org/calendar

Events from around the world, also tagged by a category that represents
where the event is taking place (we use the categories for other things
besides events).

Right now we have to choose a time zone for the whole site/calendar,
but ideally in our case we would assign a time zone to each event. For
now, we just have each person specify the local time zone for their
event.

This is really a problem when you look at the iCal feed, which has a
6pm event in London and a 6pm event in San Francisco appearing to be at
the same time.

Is there any plans for adding this feature? I know there are a lot of
other great features in the works, but I could not tell if this was.
Maybe our case is too weird and not useful for anyone else.

Is there a donation required to request specific features? Only half
joking - it is helps, then I will try to get some money for this
feature.

We would also like to be able to create an iCal feed based on a
specific category, not for the whole calendar. Is that possible today -
maybe I missed how to do it.

Again, thanks for a great plugin!

Keith
