[EventCalendar] Ec3EditForm.catinput voodoo problem

Hi all, I'm new to this list but have been using the Event Calendar  
for quite some time on a couple of WP sites... great plugin!   
Unfortunately, I'm having a problem I can't seem to figure out myself.

I recently upgraded a site to WP 2.2 and Event Calendar 3.1 (I've  
tried 3.1.1rc1 as well) and am having problems with the category  
checkbox on the Write Post screen.

The Javascript that handles hiding the original category checkbox  
input and adding the ec3 checkbox appears to malfunctioning.  The  
Ec3EditForm OnLoad results in a disabled category checkbox, so that  
there is no way for the user to designate a post as belonging to the  
event category.  I've tried in Safari, Firefox and IE (windows, Mac,  
multiple versions) and the checkbox is disabled in all.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
