[EventCalendar] display events by post/event description

Does anyone have some code to display the event/post descriptions on a
page?  I'd like to use the post description field for just the location, and
then have a page to organize the events based on location, so that people
don't have to look through each month or day in order to figure out when an
event will be in their area.
