[EventCalendar] It's not the database

So I created a new install of WP 2.1.2 and event calendar 3.1 (beta)

Last I posted to the list Alex said that I had a database issue.

With this new install, events posted in the past and future I am  
getting the same result as the old install. It is not showing future  
events in a list or in the calendar.

So, it cannot be a database issue because I created a brand-new  
database from scratch. Wondering if I have stumbled across an unknown  
bug.

I'm thinking I may have to do an install of WP 2.0 with EC 3.1 which  
was all working before all of this.
