[EventCalendar] css information

hi,

i was looking a little bit inside the css code and found a lot of css
code that is not really showing up on the html. why is that?

i would like to know how to make days with events in them show up in a
visible way in the minicalendar on the side. right now all days are
black and not underlined so there is no way to know if a number is a
link or not other than going one by one and watching if the mouse
arrow changes to the hand icon.

also, the "previous month" nav link, and the "next month" nav link are
in different sizes. in addition, the "previous month" is changing with
my browser selection of text size and the "next month" is set.
