[EventCalendar] Urgent: permalinks for events show date posted

For the record, I have the same issue. I use Keep Events Separate and I
still get the date posted date in the permalink.
For me, it wasn't a deal breaker, and I just brushed it off - but Steve, if
you come up with a fix as described, I'll be very interested to see it.
