[EventCalendar] EC3 Category Issue

Hi,

I don't want to be pressing, but I would like some kind of instruction or a
possible solution to my problem, as I'm not skilled with php I can't resolve
this problem on my own, and I would appreciate any help I can get.
My problem is that I can see only events I posted after the install of EC3
(latest) in the category archive, but not the ones that were posted before
in the same category, as I use category listing almost as a  page links you
can understand the importance of this problem to me.
I use ELA (extended live archives) with a slightly re-moded k2 however the
re-mod has no bearing on this issue, what I would like to pint out is that I
noticed that ELA has no problem with tracking the posts.
