[EventCalendar] 3.1.1r1 Still Dead For Me on WP 2.1 and 2.1.1

Hi there,

I've been reading through the posts trying to find the WP 2.1.x fix.  
I tried the 3.1.1r1 update but still get nothing.

Specifically, dates of posts in the designated category do not show  
up in either my sidebar events display or calendar (I don't have the  
calendar code in my sidebar file normally, though I put it in to test).

It merely says "No events."

I tried putting in a new event just to see if that might trigger  
something without success.

I've made no modifications to the plugin or the hook in my sidebar  
file. The same problem has occurred with v3.0.4, 3.1.0, and the  
latest 3.1.1r1 of the plugin.

Here's what's in my side bar just like the plugin admin page suggests:

Interestingly, the two upcoming events I've posted do not show up  
even in the category I've designated the ec3 plugin to use. Here's

And here are two events in that category that do not show up  
(unfortunately, I don't remember if this was occurring before the WP  
2.1 upgrade).
