[EventCalendar] Show Event Date in Post?

I've looked through mailing archives and not found what i'm looking for.

Basically I want Event Calendar V2 for work with the latest wordpress
version. The original plugin was perfect for me.

Quite simply, I'm looking to see if I can output the date in the format 'D j
M Y' to replace the post date with ec3_get_schedule output like Fri 3 Feb
2008 for example. Is it possible?

[As I side issue, I am having the same problem as Mark Naylor did in earlier
emails. The schedule call isn't working - not outputing anything after I
changed the format. Reverting back didn't help. I'm hoping the problem will
resolve itself.]
