[EventCalendar] Big Calendar 5 - Read This

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm getting a message that my I can't
activate the plugin because of a fatal error. I'm running 3.1.1_rc3 right
now with no problem. But if I deactivate it, delete it from the server, and
then upload the Patch 5 files I run into the error. Is there something else
I should know? (Running WP 2.2 - is this only compatible with 2.3?)
