[EventCalendar] Background

I installed the Event Calendar on a few Wordpress sites and found that on
one site the template used has a dark background in the sidebar. Seeing this
I noticed the EC3 doesn¹t have a background so the dark color comes through
the calendar and makes the calendar unreadable. Is there a way I can add a
background? 

Which file are the css styles located? Maybe I can change the colors in the
theme text to make it show better. But, I would rather have a background.
