[EventCalendar] separate ec3 components for greater display control?

Hello everyone.

I'd like to start by thanking the creator of this plugin and everyone 
who supplies support. Looks like a great solution.

Is it possible to separate out the different data components of ec3 so I 
can display pieces of the data in my own loop (e.g. display just the 
event date)? Or alternatively, can I display other information from the 
event's post (like content, or custom fields) from within the ec3 loop?

I need more information than just the event title, date, and time to 
show up on my events list. Right now I have to run my own loop through 
the events category to display that info, but when I do that I cannot 
read the even time and date (or can I?)

Any ideas?
