[EventCalendar] Eventcalendar background

Hi, I installed the Event Calendar on a few Wordpress sites and found that
on one site the template used has a dark background in the sidebar. Seeing
this I noticed the EC doesn¹t have a background so the dark color comes
through the calendar and makes the calendar unreadable. Where can I change
the background color or can I.
