hi again,
is there no answer/reason for this happening? i was under the impression
timezones weren't a problem in php 4 if safe mode is OFF. is there another
reason why the dates are flipping 4 hours early? is there a workaround? am
i missing something?

i would really like for my events to stay on the calendar until midnight
local time instead of midnight utc (which in most cases is prior to the start
of an event).

Subject: event display problem (help pls)

have searched extensively, but not found an answer. EventCalendar changes date
4 hours early (reflecting the utc timezone).

 - utc time = 2007-08-16 12:08:47 am
 - local time = 2007-08-15 08:08:47 pm
 - server time = 2007-08-15 05:08:47 pm

server php version is 4.4.2 w/ safe mode OFF
EC timezone set for NY (also tried LA because of server time difference).
