[EventCalendar] Including events from other iCalendar feeds?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and I appologise if it has;
the list archives are easily searchable.

I would like to include iCal feeds from other places in my EC calendar. 
Is this possible?  Are there any plans for this sort of feature?  I have
tried using the Upcoming Events plugin
(http://jacob.steenhagen.us/blog/upcoming-events), which would sort of do
what I want, in conjunction with Event Calendar, but that pluging seems to
very many problems (whereas this one looks to be good quality and very
professional).  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm putting together a list of stand-alone social networking tools for a
local community organisation (who doesn't want to use facebook but will if
I can't convince them of the brilliance of Wordpress and sensibleness of
retaining-control-of-one's-own-data).
