[EventCalendar] Get Events in a category?

Hello,

I would like to show a list of upcoming events in only one category  
on one of my WP static pages.
Is there a way to use ec3_get_events with a category parameter?
Or is there some other function that takes categories into account?

Sorry if this has been answered before - I tried to look through the  
archive...
