[EventCalendar] Keep Events Separate

That switch turns on a whole host of different behaviours. Some of them 
don't make any sense on a post-by-post basis.

Can you explain in a little more detail what you want to change on a 
post-by-post basis? Is it just the whether that post is listed on the 
front page?
