[EventCalendar] Problems with Events next year

Here's another observation to the problem I previously wrote about.

 

Events that are for next year are not falling in order based on their year
but only based on the month and day. If I use the post timestamp to add the
event date the post doesn't show up at all in the list but does show up on
the calendar itself. So then I changed the post time stamp back to the same
date in the current year and now the post shows up correctly, in the right
order. However another event next year that I had posted and showed up in
the wrong order when I tried to do the same thing now shows up after the
previously changed event even though it is now out of order and should have
been in the list prior to the last event.

 

I'm using WP 2.04

EventCalendar 3.1. pre13

I have installed the patch for WP 2
