[EventCalendar] Event Calendar publishing and time zone display

All:
I am just now experimenting with subscribing to my event calendar via  
iCal. The time zone shows up in my calendar as "UTC/GMT" which I  
expect is the normal (but not desired) behavior. Is there a work  
around for this that I am missing? Alex, is it possible to use the  
offset entered into the WordPress settings (instead of GMT), if not  
actually include a time zone attribute in the published file?
