Hi,

I am working to convince my company to adopt Wordpress as a beginning
step towards more comprehensive CMS applications. I have successfully
installed and used the EC3 plugin; but, I am interested in extending it
further. Before doing so, I was hoping to get feedback from anyone
interested in my goals on whether there is anything existing I can
leverage or whether there are any further requirements I should be
thinking about. I plan to post the final code as a new plugin (requiring
EC3).

For each event, we would like to have a register list. When viewing the
event, you can choose to "Register" yourself to an event or "Unregister"
yourself if you are already registered. If not currently logged in, a
login should either be prompted or, the Register/Unregister options
should not be available. The data should be stored in a new MySQL table
(wp_e3_registration?) which will reference the current wp_ec3_schedule
table.

Eventually, we would like to further enhance this by adding an option to
"Present" and options to upload files that will be presented. We would
prefer that this all be available to people who otherwise only have the
"Contributor" role.

Thanks,
Sebastion
