[EventCalendar] shouldn't event posts show up in main page

I will check it worked OK on my test site with rc2

Those are category listings from using WP-iCal. I probably have to  
delete those and re-enter them now that EV3 has been reinstalled?

Is there a way to determine how many Events from October can be show  
below in the Upcoming Events (where did that come from?) IS that ec3  
code?

They showed up when they were posts when I was using WP-ical
