[EventCalendar] Listing post-content as part of the event list, and controlling starting nr. of post in the eventlist-query

I am looking for a way to make a 3 part listing of events on my front page
using the eventcalender, and with the release of the latest version I feel
it is sooooooo close it almost hurts.

I am looking for a way to include the actual content of the post(s), and
also a way of controlling from what post/event the query starts listing
posts/events, in addition to how many posts/events to list.

1) What I'm trying to achieve is for the first group of event(s) to include
all content from the post itself.

2) the next group of events should list maybe 3 with some of the post
content, pref using the ('Read more ....') param from wp itself in some way.

3) The third group would be a list of just dates/hours and post title, like
it works today, but starting from a specific post nr.

------------------------------------------

an example using 3 different querys, with different post nr startingpoints:

First group: What I'm thinking about is having the ability to use number of
posts to control what is listed in each query, saying in the first query to
list maybe 3 posts and include the content of the post (maybe with a
%CONTENT% param) starting from the first available event/post.
The first part, telling it how many posts to list exist today, however the
%content% part does not exist as far as I've seen.

Next group is where the flexibility starts - if it was possible to say
something in the query like 'list 3 posts' and then add a param like +4 or
just 4, as in 'list 3 posts, starting from post nr. 4' and then use
%content% ('read more ...') to shorten the event to a small piece of the
post.

Last group would be a regular query like some of the examples in the
documentation (list 10 posts), with an added ', starting from post nr.8'.

This would give us a front page content area listing of events, starting
with the 3 first events being full content posts, the next 3 would be a
shorter posts with content and a 'read more', and the last one would be the
next 10 posts with date, time and post title. From a publisher point of view
this would be a godsend, becuase it would allow us to create an eventbased
frontpage with the focus on the events as the main content.

------------------------------------------

>From a theoretical point of view, this should be possible if the counting of
posts always starts on the first upcoming event, and counts from there.

This would make it possible to construct rather complex eventslistings,
making the user able to focus on the first upcoming event, and tempting the
reader with the next 3 events, and then listing the rest - making it
possible to taylor the whole thing towards an audience needing more than a
list of events tucked away in the sidebar :)

With the additions I've read about for rc3 I see this closing in as a
posibility - and would love to see this implemented, since I think this
would make eventcalender the absolute killer app for everything event based.

And frankly, right now I'm actually willing to pay for this functionality to
be included :)
