When RC3 comes out, your problem should be solved.
You will be able to do...
http://thewellministries.org/?ec3_before=today
http://thewellministries.org/?ec3_after=today
If you don't like the order, just add WordPress' order option:
&order=DESC or &order=ASC

Once more in English? ;-)

You want a listing. Either turn on "Keep Separate" and use the category
page. Or use the more flexible ec3_before, ec3_after, ec3_days &
ec3_today parameters.

"Top and Bottom"? I really don't know what you mean.
You can use ec3_the_schedule() in your template - just put it inside the
loop. Set its parameters to change the way the dates and times are
formatted.

Just change WordPress' date format on the general options screen.
